Luminosa Voices are a 80 strong choir based in North East Hampshire bringing a fresh take on choral repertoire, encompassing a range of beloved Sacred Music, Opera, Jazz and 20th Century Western Art Music too. Expect powerful and sensitive interpretations of the Western Classical Choral cannon and some daring concerts that encompass World Music and Jazz with first class soloists across the board. This has all been made possible by our wonderful sponsors Babyliss and Sheen Stickland, to whom we owe a great debt.
If you have a passion for choral music, or are one of those souls to whom singing is second nature, we would love to hear from you. We are always on the look out for passionate and talented voices to join our fold. Perhaps you are an instrumentalist or composer who sang through college, University or Conservatoire and you are looking to rediscover the joy of collective singing; or perhaps you have some experience of liturgical singing, or previously sang with a choral society and wish to rediscover the sense of joy and connection singing within an ensemble can bring.
We would love to hear from you.. we are currently recruiting for Tenors and Basses, but if you are an Alto or Soprano we would still like to hear from you too, to audition please get in touch. enquiries@luminosamusic.com
If you are interested in Joining us, but are not yet sure it is for you please contact our Artistic Director Rebekah Abbott and come and join us for a trial rehearsal.
